St. Mark’s Summer Junior Camp is a vibrant and nurturing environment designed to introduce young campers to the joys of exploration, creativity, and socialization. At this age, children are still developing key motor skills and emotional awareness, so the program focuses on simple, age-appropriate activities that foster a love of learning through play. Daily routines include games that encourage physical activity, arts and craft sessions, water safety and swim lessons, story time and other traditional camp activities.
In addition to creative play, Junior Camp provides essential opportunities for social development. Children learn basic concepts of sharing, taking turns, and interacting with their peers in a guided, supportive setting. Our Junior Camp counselors are specially trained to provide gentle guidance, ensuring that each child feels safe, respected, and encouraged to engage. Simple group activities, such as sing-alongs and cooperative games, help children build confidence and make friends. Junior Camp is designed to be a joyful and structured experience, giving children the foundation to explore their world in a fun and educational way, while allowing families peace of mind knowing their little ones are being cared for in a loving and stimulating environment.
Campers must be age 3.5 years old by their first day of camp. Campers must also meet the expectations of the St. Mark’s Summer Toilet Training Policies.
