AfterCamp Adventures

Join us on the high and low ropes course as we engage in daily challenges, games, and problem-solving initiatives. Campers will be provided challenge-by-choice as they push their limits and build their confidence through this extension of our regular Adventure Challenge programming.

There will be no camp on Friday, July 4. 

Extend your time on the archery range! Daily activities include instruction on technique, practice, games, and fun challenges for our intrepid archers.

Do you enjoy exploring new flavors and creating tasty treats? Our Blending Basics program introduces campers to the art of making smoothies, dips, and more. Students will learn to blend a variety of nutritious and delicious recipes from around the globe, including Mediterranean Hummus, Mexican Guacamole, and American Smoothies. Campers will have the chance to learn blending techniques, understand safety protocols, and enhance their culinary vocabulary. Come discover how simple ingredients can be transformed into exciting and healthy creations!

Come learn chess in a fun and exciting way! Instruction will be provided, as well as plenty of time to play.

Create a “line” of clothing, from formal wear to casual chic. Come up with your own design for Wacky Wednesday or make an outfit for yourself using clothes from your closet. Fun and fashion await!

Interested in drawing, art, or design? In this AfterCampAdventure, you’ll learn how to use graphic design for real, by doing all of the promotional design work for our Musical Theater show at the end of the session! You will design and create posters, headshot displays, programs, and other promotional materials using your creativity and our web-based design program.

Have you ever wanted to be a photographer? Well, this is your chance! We’ll learn the basics of photography in all of its forms. We’ll learn about composition, lighting and other core strategies that allow professionals to take incredible photos. We’ll also get to take pictures of campus, go on nature tours, and more!

Cameras will be provided.

Learn the step-by-step drawing techniques to draw characters like Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Dragonite, and many more! Explore different hands-on art media such as watercolor, modeling clay, pastels, and more as you create Poké-balls, Pokémon Shrinky Dinks, and even your own Pokémon trading cards.

Take fingerprints, decode secret messages, search for clues, and decipher our escape room! Explore the fascinating world of solving mysteries and develop observation and reasoning skills.

Join us for fitness-focused games, activities, and team sports. Along the way, campers will practice teamwork, communication, and emotional self-regulation skills to help them everywhere, not just on the field or court.

Activities include an introduction to Gymnastics, Running, Yoga, Obstacle Courses, Tag, Baseball, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and Parkour!
